I just finsished reading Arshad Mahmood's book "Why Muslims are Misfit in the Moden World." It is the English translation of his book "Saqafati Ghutan" written some 30 years ago. The book has been translated in English by our friend Jamshed Iqbal.
Not much has been written on Muslim psyche and why it could not compete in the modern world. This book outlines the main factors contributing to Muslims' outdated values,orthodoxy and violent behavior which have kept them apart from the modern world.
Like all other books by Arshad Mahood it is a must-read.
